Dear Elder Adams:

You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  You are assigned to labor in the North Carolina Charlotte Mission 

and will prepare to preach the gospel in the English language.  Please report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

Today, Sam opened his mission call.  It was different from your traditional call opening because we are in the middle of the covid19 pandemic.  Everyone has been given the directive to stay home as much as possible, so Sam opened his mission call on the front lawn as friends and family either stayed in their cars with windows rolled down or social distanced themselves from one another.  It was a beautiful night and Sam is excited and ready to go out and share his testimony with the world.
