Howdy Partners

Another great week!  We got so much done!! While Elder Frogley and I are working hard to get a lot done, we also have a lot of fun, which both of those are very crucial in missionary life. This week we taught a lot of lessons. We actually have 2 kids that we are have been teaching that are getting baptized this coming Saturday.  We are so excited!! The Lord works in many ways because Lenoir (the area that we are in) is considered to be the  slowest area in the mission.  So having 2 baptisms is so awesome!
During my personal study, I have been reading  a  lot about courage. Courage is something that in today's life, separates good people from great people. I know that I was given the gift of courage.  About 5 months ago, I took a leap of faith AKA courage. That decision wasn't based off of others opinions, it was my own and that is why it took me so long to make the decision to come back out.  That gift of courage has helped shape me into a better person. That decision has blessed my life in so many ways and has given me experiences that I would not experience anywhere else. I am so glad and so blessed to have this opportunity to serve the Lord and help others come closer to Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to strengthen my testimony now.  I love every single one of you guys. You help me out so much. You support me so much. Without any of you, my life would not be the same. So thank you!

Hello everyone in Utah

This week was great, not a lot of stuff happened, but it went by so quickly. While I was preparing to come back out on my mission, I kept having the thought that time will probably go by so slow and that was one thing that was making it hard to make my decision, making me a little hesitant about coming back out. I am so glad that I made the decision to come back, it has changed my life forever. I have learned life lessons that I would never have learned at home or anywhere else.
This week we did a lot of service (hallelujah) I love service so much because it kind of allows me to get away from missionary work while doing it at the same time. It allows me to focus on something else for a little while. I love that and I love helping others!  We chopped wood for a lady for a very long time, it was a good workout. We were able to teach her a lesson at the same time, which was awesome.  Her name is Lorene and she is the sweetest old lady I have met. Literally so nice. She always makes us food when we go over there:)

What is up everyone?

This week has been pretty good.  We found 3 new amazing people to teach.  Lenoir, North Carolina is good.  It is a great area and has a lot of work to be done.

Many unexpected things happened this week. On Friday, we had a lesson planned with Ruben. We were running late because of a lesson right before his so we tried to call Ruben to tell him we were sorry for being late and if he would still be ok to meet.  He didn't answer so we left a message.  Later he called us back, he was angry because he never listened to our message and told us that he wouldn't be able to meet with us anymore and said some other choice words.  A few minutes later, he called back and said to just come over...so we went over and had another lesson with him.  It was all very strange but I am so glad that he called us back.

My companion and I are doing good, staying busy, and having so much fun while doing everything that we are supposed to be doing. Anyway, what a wonderful week it has been. I'm doing great! Hope you guys are doing great too!

Hello all y'all

This week went by so fast. Elder Frogley and I have been working really hard. We were able to get a new person on date to be baptized!! How cool is that? His name Is Ruben and I think I may have mentioned him in my last email. He is from Los Angeles and used to be in some gangs there. He is a super cool guy that is progressing so much. Seeing people progress is one of the many blessings that you see as a missionary.

I am really enjoying my new companion.  Having a good companion can make a big difference. When you're happy and working hard, time flies by and the weeks are productive and positive.  I love that.  Elder Frogley has been a huge blessing in my life. I was a little bit hesitant when deciding if I wanted to come back or not because I didn't want to have a companion that I did not like. Heavenly Father has been watching out for me! He has placed me with great companions! What a wonderful blessing for me!

Anyway, I am doing great out here! I love the work and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else:)
